College Possible Wisconsin’s Day of Service: Honoring Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.

Honoring Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.

In honor of Martin Luther King Jr. Day, College Possible Wisconsin staff came together to serve our community and reflect on Dr. King’s enduring call to action: “Life’s most persistent and urgent question is, ‘What are you doing for others?’”

This year, we rolled up our sleeves and spent the day volunteering at Ronald McDonald House, a place that offers comfort, care, and a sense of home to families while their children receive medical treatment. By helping clean and maintain the facility, our staff helped ease the burden for families navigating some of life’s most challenging moments.

At College Possible Wisconsin, we believe in showing up for our community and investing in the well-being of Wisconsin youth and families. Service is central to how we show up, not only in our work with students, but in our commitment to the communities we are part of. Participating in this Day of Service reinforced our dedication to care, compassion, and community.

We are grateful to Ronald McDonald House for welcoming us and for the essential work they do to support families across Wisconsin. The experience was a meaningful reminder that when we show up for one another, even in small ways, we help build stronger communities.

As we move through the year ahead, we remain committed to uplifting Wisconsin youth and families through action, partnership, and service, honoring Dr. King’s legacy not just in words, but through continued dedication to others.
