Seattle’s next generation of leaders begins by opening new doors

About College Possible Washington

At College Possible Washington (previously known as College Access Now or CAN), we’re working to close the college degree divide. Since 2006, our college access and success programs have helped put more than 4,600* students from under-represented communities in Seattle and South King County on the path to a college degree. Our pioneering model matches eligible students with near-peer coaches and an intensive curriculum designed to help them overcome the most common barriers to getting into college and completing their degree — all at no cost to students or their families.

In 2019, CAN joined the College Possible team as the seventh site. Through our partnerships with three area school districts, we continue to advance college equity for the greater Seattle community. Our aim is to help create a more educated and diverse workforce by offering young people real opportunities to break the cycle of poverty. Learn more
