In today’s rapidly shifting education landscape, students navigating the path to college face increasing uncertainty—from rising costs to a complex financial aid system. To help more students reach their college and career goals, College Possible is expanding its high school program with the support of a $1 million grant from Salesforce.
This multi-year investment will strengthen College Possible’s capacity to deliver personalized college coaching and planning support, powered by new technology tools.
“Our goal has always been to ensure that students don’t just get to college—they thrive there and beyond,” said Dr. Siva Kumari, CEO of College Possible. “This partnership with Salesforce helps us scale that mission in a way that’s both personal and powerful.”
With Salesforce’s support, College Possible is rolling out a new service model to help students manage common challenges and plan for success. The organization will focus on three key areas:
- Strengthening High School Partnerships
We’re expanding our reach through partnerships with high schools, inviting more students into our College Access Program. This signature offering pairs students with trained coaches who guide them through every step of the college process—from exploring best-fit schools to finalizing financial aid and enrollment. - Building Career Readiness Early
We’re introducing new resources to help students plan for life after high school, whether that’s through resume writing, mock interviews and interview prep, or career exploration. Our refreshed career curriculum will soon be available in video formats designed to better engage and prepare students for their next chapter. - Leveraging AI for Smarter, Scalable Coaching
College Possible is innovating with AI-powered coaching tools, so students can more easily access personalized guidance, 24/7. These tools will streamline communication, reduce administrative tasks, and allow our coaches to spend more time doing what they do best—building relationships and supporting students directly.
With the added power of AI tools and expanded digital resources, College Possible is building a more efficient, more accessible path for students to plan for college and future careers.
“Students from low-income households face tough challenges trying to access college, complete their education, and build long-term careers. We’re just beginning to tap into the potential of AI and other emerging technologies to expand opportunity,” said Suzanne DiBianca, executive vice president and chief impact officer at Salesforce. “This grant is a testament to what’s possible when social sector organizations embrace innovation—not just to scale what works, but to build a future where every student has a real shot at success.”
