Building Brighter Futures
Since 2003, College Possible Texas has helped put more than 18,000 students throughout Texas on the path to a college degree. Our free college coaching program helps students around Austin and beyond, reaching rural areas and expanding opportunities for those dreaming of a degree. We are paving the way for students from low-income backgrounds on their path to higher education.
What makes us different? We personalize the journey. Each student gets paired with a near-peer coach who’s there every step of the way. Whether it’s choosing a college that’s the best fit or helping them overcome challenges once they’re enrolled, we’re here to make sure they succeed.
With the help of our amazing partners at local high schools and colleges, we’re making sure more students in Texas not only get into college, but thrive there. Together, we’re creating lasting change—one student at a time.
Student Resources
At College Possible, we provide students with the tools, resources, and support they need to navigate the college journey—from application to graduation. Through personalized mentorship, students build the skills and confidence to take charge of their education. We prepare them to succeed in college and beyond, opening doors to greater economic opportunity and helping them achieve their goals for a brighter future.

Our primary, site-based college access and success program. Eligible students receive at least six years of near-peer coaching support to navigate and overcome the most common challenges of getting into college and graduating.
Connects College Partnerships
Customized college partnerships that support the recruitment, enrollment, persistence and retention of College Possible students on partner institutions’ campuses.
Eligibility Requirements
- Attending a partner school
- Completed your first year of high school
- Minimum 2.0 GPA
- Demonstrated financial need
- Motivated to attend and graduate from a four-year college
