In February, 72 College Possible Chicago high school juniors and seniors visited the University of Wisconsin-Madison campus. This trip was a collaborative effort between College Possible leadership from Chicago and Milwaukee alongside UW-Madison and we look forward to continuing this partnership again next year.

The day included a campus tour and opportunities to meet representatives from admissions, financial aid and each school within UW-Madison. College Possible students also heard from current UW students and alumni about life on campus.

As part of the visit, juniors received tips and tricks about how to stand out while applying, and, for many, it was their first time setting foot on a college campus. Seniors learned about housing and career resources and gathered important information to help them make their final decision.

At College Possible, we know it is critical that students are exposed to a variety of schools in person—large, small, private, public, in-state and out-of-state—to experience what college life is like and begin to envision themselves on campus. This spring, students will be visiting the Illinois Institute of Technology and the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
