College Possible Texas is excited to announce a new partnership with the Mariachi Extravaganza, the nation’s premier cultural and musical event for youth mariachi performers.
This December, College Possible Texas will join the competition in San Antonio, engaging with hundreds of talented student musicians and their families to provide free support for college access.
Hosted by San Antonio-based Muñoz Public Relations, the Mariachi Extravaganza brings together the best middle school, high school, and college mariachi groups from across the country. In addition to live performances, the weeklong festival includes vocal competitions, masterclasses with top mariachi artists, and community events that showcase the vibrant culture and traditions of mariachi music.
As part of this partnership, College Possible Texas will be on-site throughout the event to build awareness of our programs and resources, including a workshop about researching colleges with Mariachi programs.
This partnership enables us to be where Texas students already are—on stage, in rehearsal rooms, and alongside families who are invested in their futures.
