Aminatu Issaka is College Possible Omaha’s Director of College Access. In her role, she supervises the high school program staff and monitors, develops, administrates, and evaluates all high school programming for the nine College Possible partner high schools. Aminatu received her Bachelor’s degree in chemistry from Jackson State University, a certificate in forensic chemistry from Kennesaw State University, and her Master of Science in forensic sciences from National University.
Aminatu is strongly motivated by equity. Due to varying obstacles/barriers, many students lack the access, training, and resources needed to attend college and successfully graduate. She sees College Possible as an advocate for students who need assistance navigating the high school to college transition.
In her free time, Aminatu enjoys traveling, trying new foods, online shopping, and spending quality time with family, friends, and her son.
