Melissa Valek is the Senior Director of Development at College Possible Omaha where she leads the fundraising and communications team. She brings 20 plus years of nonprofit experience in fund development, volunteer management, and strategic planning. Melissa joined College Possible in 2020 because of her belief in the transformative power of education and the importance of assuring equitable access to educational opportunities for all students.
Melissa holds a bachelor’s degree in English from the University of Hawaii at Manoa and a master’s degree in English, Language and Literature from St. Mary’s University in San Antonio, Texas. Melissa is a board member of the Bellevue Public Schools Foundation.
