College Possible is one of the largest and most trusted college access and success nonprofits. We help students get into college (starting their junior year of high school), persist through challenges, and earn their bachelor’s degree. For 25 years, we have supported over 100,000 students (and their families) nationwide through personalized coaching, clear guidance, and a proven approach that works. Our purpose is simple: ensure that every student has the opportunity to reach their fullest potential—no matter their circumstances.
No. College Possible is completely free for eligible students and families. Thanks to our generous supporters, including individual donors and local and national partners such as ECMC and Salesforce, we are able to provide coaching services at no cost.
To qualify, students must attend a partner school, have a minimum 2.5 GPA, and have demonstrated financial need. Find partner schools on our student application page.
College Possible students are three times more likely to earn a bachelor’s degree than their peers from similar backgrounds.
To ensure we are helping the students who need us most, we must verify financial need. All information is kept confidential. We do not collect any social security information or inquire about immigration status.
Coaches meet regularly with students, either in person or virtually, depending on the program and site.
No. We complement the support your school already provides by offering additional one-on-one coaching and guidance.
Our support continues through college, helping students navigate financial aid, academics, campus resources, and other issues that can affect their persistence toward a degree.
College Possible begins in high school and continues through college graduation.
