UP Ties golf tournament raises $28,000 in support of College Possible Omaha

Up Ties Golf Tournament 2

For the second year in a row, College Possible Omaha was selected to serve as the 2022 Charity Partner for Union Pacific (UP) Ties, an employee resource group whose mission is to be the bridge between local communities and young professionals through service and excellence.

In June, UP Ties hosted their annual Charity Golf Tournament at the Eagle Hills Golf Course in Papillion, Nebraska. Committee members worked to ensure a great experience for everyone in attendance. Members of the leadership team at College Possible Omaha attended the event and connected with vendors, sponsors and golfers.

We remain grateful for the enthusiastic support of UP Ties at their annual golf outing. The weather graced all with a wonderful day, low scores (for some) and a fun experience. Thank you for your partnership in sharing our message in serving talented youth preparing for tomorrow’s workforce,” said College Possible’s Executive Director Arvin Frazier III.

Thanks to the hard work of UP Ties’, College Possible will receive $28,000, which will support college access and success programming for the 2022-2023 academic year.

The UP Ties Annual Charity Golf Tournament is an event that we look forward to every year. It’s a great opportunity for our members to plan and volunteer, for our sponsors to spend time with College Possible, and for golfers to enjoy an event for a great cause. With the help of our members, Eagle Hills Golf Course, our sponsors and of course College Possible, this event is always a success,” said Colin Buckley, vice president of communications for UP Ties.
