College Possible is dedicated to closing the degree divide and making college possible for students from low-income backgrounds through an intensive curriculum of coaching and support.
As a college graduate from a low-income family, I feel driven to help as many students from a similar background as mine pursue a better, more supported path,” said 2020-21 AmeriCorps member Jerika Christman. “Students deserve to know they are capable, worthy, supported and belong in a collegiate or university setting no matter their background, income, experience, etc. I believe in making College Possible for all.”
Currently, College Possible is recruiting recent college graduates to make an impact by becoming AmeriCorps members. College Possible is recruiting for members at all locations. In Oregon, we have openings for High School Coaches, College Coaches, Community Partnerships Team Members and CollegePoint Coaches:

AmeriCorps members receive a biweekly living allowance, health coverage and an Education Award of $6,345 that can be used to repay federal student loans or pay future education expenses. Opportunities for AmeriCorps members go beyond just the living allowance and Education Award, they have opportunities for professional development, networking and career exploration. College Possible also provides a community of young professionals that is unparalleled to any other post-graduation opportunity.
I would definitely recommend doing a term of service with College Possible,” said 2020-21 AmeriCorps member Edwina Koch. “It is so rewarding. It’s an immediate community of amazing people who you can lean on to support you as a coach and as a person. How many other roles can offer that?!”
If you are a recent college grad and want to give back, we’d love to work with you. For more information on becoming a College Possible AmeriCorps coach, please visit our website or apply using this application!
