University of Wisconsin alum James Corbett joined College Possible in January 2021. Serving in his current position as senior manager of college access, flagship program, James serves with College Possible because he craves meaning in his work. “To me there is no greater meaning than working toward a world in which a student’s future is determined by their aspirations, motivation and effort, and not by their family’s income.”
James is a problem solver and is always trying to find answers to life’s big questions. So, it should come as no surprise that his favorite book is Finite and Infinite Games: A Vision of Life as Play and Possibility by James P. Carse, and his desired superpower is the ability to pause time. When asked what he is most excited about for the coming year, James told us that he is looking forward to getting to know our new cohort of amazing coaches.
