Amid the continued challenges students face in completing their Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) or Minnesota Dream Act form, College Possible Minnesota is hosting free events to support students in completing their financial aid applications. Currently, we’re slatted to host five in-person events throughout July and August. Additionally, we’re offering virtual completion sessions for students and their families.
“Submitting the FAFSA or Minnesota Dream Act application can have a huge impact on how affordable college is for many students,” says College Possible Minnesota’s Senior Director of External Relations, Isaiah Allen. “These forms are used to determine how much financial support students receive from the federal and state governments. Colleges and universities also use this information in determining how much financial assistance they’ll offer to a student. Time is running out to get these financial matters in order before classes start in the fall. If you’re struggling to submit or revise your application, College Possible can help. Our support is free, and you can get that support at one of these events or schedule time through our website.”
To register for these upcoming events, or for assistance submitting, correcting, or troubleshooting FAFSA or MN Dream Act applications, visit College Possible Minnesota’s FAFSA website.
