College Forward announced this week its partnership with Education First, an organization founded in Seattle that provides college scholarships to exceptional seniors in seven U.S. cities at high schools with historically low college application rates. To help these students persist and graduate, College Forward will provide them with our award-winning college success mentoring services. We are thrilled to work with more students, and partner with other game-changing organizations in an innovative way.
“A college degree versus a high school diploma can mean the difference of at least $1 million earned over a career,” said Chris Bryan, Co-Founder and Executive Director of Education First. “Many of our scholars are the first in their families to go to college. It’s new, unfamiliar and there is always a risk of dropping out. By giving them a personalized coach, we hope to give them the edge they need to earn a college degree.”
College Forward’s goal is to provide ongoing support to students and ensure their every need is met. CoFo is extremely proud to partner with a fellow organization that shares the same vision.
