Fun Fact: Danica plays semi-professional full-contact women’s football with the Austin Outlaws. Although she took off this season to better serve her students, she plans to try out for the Detroit Dark Angels when she moves back to Michigan in July.
Danica’s Impact: As one of our star returning AmeriCorps Coaches, Danica has gone above and beyond with students this year. Beyond helping her students reach their milestones — 100% of her students have been accepted to college, finalized their resumes, and submitted their FAFSA/TASFA — Danica has done an excellent job of establishing lasting connections with all of her students. As a bonus, many of her students earned scholarships ranging from $500 to $20,000 this year! Thank you Danica for two years of service!
