Sophie has been passionate about education for several years, focusing her undergraduate work at Hamline University on education policy. After graduating from Hamline in December 2018, she joined College Possible as an AmeriCorps member serving Highland Park and Johnson High School. Since her time as an AmeriCorps member, she has continued her work in college access and success programs by working with TRIO Student Support Services for two years. Coming back to College Possible, Sophie is excited to continue this work and support new AmeriCorps members as they begin their own journeys.
Outside of work, Sophie is a graduate student studying Student Affairs Administration at the University of Wisconsin- La Crosse and plans to graduate in May 2023. She loves her two cats, Guts and Parsnips, and spends most of her time exploring the Twin Cities.
