Austin currently works in Chicago for Stripe (Payment Processing Infrastructure) as an Account Executive in the Startup & SMB segment. Prior to Stripe, Austin worked in the consulting and staffing space, focusing on company initiatives that prepared both recent college graduates and transitioning veterans for job readiness.
In 2018, Austin graduated from Northwestern University’s school of Education and Social Policy with degrees in Learning & Organizational Change as well as Economics. His passion for enabling higher education opportunities for underprivileged individuals was ignited by the numerous hands-on classes and experiences that explored the racial and socio-economic divide that prevents upward mobility for so many inner-city Chicago families.
Outside of work, Austin has spent time throughout his career partnering with various education and job readiness programs, including America’s Urban Campus (Chicago) and Roll Call Chicagoland.
