Willa joins College Possible with ten years of experience in student support, having worked as a composition instructor at the University of New Hampshire and as a college admissions and writing coach here in Portland. Having attended college on a needs-based scholarship, she is deeply committed to college access and educational equity work and is thrilled to support College Possible students on their journey to and through college. With a background in writing and editing, she is particularly passionate about empowering others to tell their stories. Out of the office she spends most of her free time gardening, exploring the outdoors, and paddling on the Willamette River as the coach of local outrigger canoe team Wasabi GRIT.
