In addition to her schoolwork, she is active in student government and a leadership program outside of school. With the support of her College Possible coach Sarah, Angeles applied to 11 colleges. To date, Angeles has been accepted into seven colleges, including a full-tuition scholarship to Alverno College, the Promise Scholarship for Milwaukee Area Technical College and she is eligible to become a Grace Scholar at Mount Mary University!
Although Angeles has yet to decide which college to attend, she intends to focus on international studies and psychology. College Possible, through AmeriCorps coach Sarah, provides Angeles and other students the information and assistance they seek in pursuing their dreams of attending and graduating from a four-year university. Angeles now has the tools and resources she needs to refine her skillset and apply it in a career of her choice.
