Thao joined College Possible in 2021 with more than five years of working in nonprofit and supporting students to gain access to higher education. Being a first-generation student from a low-income background, she experienced many challenges in accessing and completing college. After completing her bachelor’s degree at St. Catherine University, she knew she wanted to continue providing support and resources to students with similar experiences. Thao is passionate about equity in education and believes all students should have equal access to higher education regardless of their background. Outside of College Possible, Thao enjoys spending time with her family, finding new boba places, reading, and digital planning.
