College Possible Omaha’s first-ever Shaking It Up for Students event was a great success. Over 20 College Possible college students and 40 Omaha area professionals gathered at Blue Cross Blue and Shield of Nebraska on Thursday, March 7 to network and build connections.
College Possible college students and Omaha area professionals spent the evening engaging with a talented and diverse group of college students who are currently looking for internship and career opportunities.
“I had a wonderful time during our networking Shaking It Up event,” says Yajaira Montoya who is a sophomore at University of Nebraska Omaha studying special education. “I was able to meet numerous professionals and obtain first-hand information from successful individuals in different fields,” stated Yajaira.
College Possible is currently serving over 2,300 students, with 500 of them attending University of Nebraska Omaha, many of which are looking to reside and work in the metro area after college graduation.
We are grateful for the support of lead sponsor, LinkedIn and student networking sponsors Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Nebraska, Security National Bank and Weitz Family Foundation.
