Kendall is a seasoned nonprofit leader, strategy consultant and executive coach based in Seattle Washington. She brings the experience of working in the non-profit sector from the perspective of Senior Nonprofit Leader, Funder, National-Level Consultant, Board Member, and Independent Evaluator. She served as Chief Learning Officer for the College Futures Foundation, California’s leading private funder of higher education reform. Before that, she worked for 8 years on the U.S. Education team at the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation and 7 years as the Vice-President of Strategy for a boutique management consulting firm for philanthropy. She brings to College Possible deep knowledge about the evidence around student success practices and effective nonprofit management. She holds a PhD from the Annenberg School for Communications at the University of Southern California and B.A. in Political Science from Duke University.
In her free time, she enjoys hiking in the Pacific northwest and practicing capoeira, a traditional Afro-Brazilian art form that combines martial arts, dance, music and acrobatics.
