Jennifer has grown up in South Omaha all her life and loves to stay in Nebraska. She graduated from the University of Nebraska Omaha in 2018 with her bachelor’s in science in public health. She also received a certificate from Northeast Community College as a community healthcare worker. She is also a former College Possible student, as she was also part of the first cohort that came to Omaha in 2011.

She works with several mental health nonprofits and councils in the Omaha area; being that she has lived experience with mental health challenges, she wants to help fight the stigma against mental illnesses and advocate for many youth and young adults, especially in the Latinx community.
