David Kundert is the former Chairman of JPMorgan Fleming Asset Management, President and CEO of Banc One Investment Advisors Corp and President of One Group Mutual Funds, Columbus, Ohio. He retired from these positions in September 2004 after over thirty years of leadership positions in Bank One Corporation and its predecessor companies.

David began his investment career in 1971 as an officer in the Trust Division of Marine National Bank in Neenah, Wisconsin. From this position he rose to CEO of the Milwaukee-based Marine Trust Company, renamed Bank One Wisconsin Trust Company following the acquisition of Marine National Bank by Bank One.

In 1992 David launched One Group Mutual Funds with $8 billion in assets under management and formed Banc One Investment Advisors Corp, the SEC-registered investment advisory arm of Bank One Corporation and advisor to One Group. Under his leadership, the mutual funds and advisory firm grew to national stature, with over $180 billion assets under management by Banc One Investment Advisors, of which over $100 billion were in One Group mutual funds. David was Executive Vice President of Bank One Corporation and a member of the corporation’s most senior level planning committee.

In 2004 JPMorgan Chase Corporation acquired Bank One and Mr. Kundert became the Chairman of JPMorgan Fleming Asset Management, a global investment management business with over $750 billion assets under management.

David has a Bachelor of Arts degree from Luther College, Decorah, Iowa and a J.D. from Valparaiso University, Valparaiso, Indiana.
