Since starting as a route driver for Seven Up Bottling Company, Dave Muscato has risen to the top of the food and beverage delivery business through a commitment to brands’ missions, employees and consumers.

Dave is currently president of Schwan’s Home Service, Inc., a subsidiary of The Schwan Food Company. Schwan’s Home Service is the nation’s largest direct-to-home deliverer of frozen foods, with a vast delivery network that spans 47 states and delivers to 1.8 million households.

As president, Dave leads entire operations for Schwan’s, with a passion for the brand and its unique offering of convenient service and delicious, high-quality food.

Additionally, Dave sits on the executive committee of The Schwan Food Company, working cross-functionally with its business units to guide the company’s strategic direction.

Prior to joining Schwan’s, Dave served as executive vice president for Nestle Waters North America’s U.S. Home & Office division, where he led strategic planning and execution, marketing, sales and operations. Dave has more than three decades of experience in the route sales and delivery industry, with a track record of leading significant turnarounds and forging consumer-centric cultures.

Born and raised in Boston, MA, Dave earned a bachelor’s degree in marketing from Bentley College in Waltham, MA, and a master’s degree in business administration from Pepperdine University in Malibu, CA. Dave now resides in Minneapolis, MN, where he works at The Schwan Food Company’s corporate office. He has twin sons, Michael and Ryan – now sophomores in college – and cares for his deceased brother’s 15-year-old son, Nick. Dave has a long-time girlfriend, Jennifer, who has a 12-year-old daughter, Samantha.

Dave enjoys active hobbies, including golf, running and riding his Harley-Davidson motorcycles. He loves his new city of Minneapolis, but remains a fan to the core of all things Boston sports.
