Alisha is College Possible Omaha’s Director of College Success and supervises College Program staff while managing projects and evaluating data to help students persist toward college graduation. Alisha works at College Possible because she believes each student is deserving of realizing their potential and earning a college degree regardless of their circumstances. When more students from low-income backgrounds are able to actively engage in post-secondary education and a global job market, communities are uplifted and their children earning a college degree become the rule and not the exception. She attended the University of South Dakota for a Bachelor’s degree in education and received her masters from UNO. In her free time, Alisha spends time with her dogs and partner, playing sand volleyball, teaching composition at UNO and traveling.
