Every year, College Possible’s depends on the passion and hard work of a new group of recent college graduates, who give low-income students an opportunity to have a college experience as rewarding as their own. Are you or someone you know ready to serve with College Possible?
A growing nonprofit dedicated to college admission and success, College Possible is powered by AmeriCorps members who help high school students earn admission to college, mentor college students through to graduation and build organizational capacity.
This year, College Possible’s 130-strong Service Corps is serving nearly 15,000 students in Minnesota’s Twin Cities; Milwaukee, Wisconsin; Omaha, Nebraska and Portland, Oregon. 98% of College Possible students have earned admission to college; once there, they graduate at five times the rate of their low-income peers.
“I cannot imagine any more important work or any more amazing people to work alongside,” said Chris Stoltenberg, a High School Coach currently serving with College Possible Twin Cities.
Named one of the Princeton Review’s best entry-level jobs, College Possible attracts applicants from across the country. Ideal candidates will have demonstrated leadership, a high level of achievement and a commitment to leveling the playing field for low-income students.
